Recently I had the privilege to work on the Ultimate Clipper Cars – a Clippers inspired Lexus RC-F. It’s currently being raffled off to one lucky fan on NBA.com.
My involvement was the hardware and software design of the basketball game clock that replaces the Lexus factory clock.
The clock is driven by a 32Bit Microprocessor on a custom designed circuit board and includes a real time clock driver with an external battery that keeps the clock running even if the car is turned off. A simple 4 button interface allows the clock to be adjusted from the dashboard.
The circuit board was designed in CadSoft Eagle and produced by my CNC using FlatCam as the post processor.
